*CLOSED* Posh Pads- Organic Reusable Bamboo Nursing Pads- Giveaway!

by Rachel McFadden on October 29, 2009

Robyn and Jessica of Posh Pads were kind enough to donate one pair of Posh Pads in a limited edition Christmas/holidayPoshPads design for one lucky winner.  These pads are made of organic bamboo fabric which is the perfect fabric for a nursing pad.  Bamboo in nature is naturally antibacterial, it reduces the chance of allergies or skin conditions.  It offers great breathe ability, wicking moisture away from the skin, again, reducing the chances of an infection or allergy to occur.  The absorbency of the pads is remarkable without being bulky or making you feel like your wearing a sponge.

The Posh Pads are not only created with a material that is safe for your skin, but they are reusable and better for the environment.  Forget the disposable nursing pads that will dry you out and leave your skin sore and painful for breast feeding.  Choose the better option for your body and mother earth.  Those disposable pads are collecting in our landfills right beside all of the disposable diapers!  Posh pads are super cute and will last you through breast feeding all of your children.

Posh pads are made out of bamboo- while growing, bamboo emits more oxygen than the equivalent amount of wood pulp.

Another fact about bamboo: It keeps more that two billion people around the world employed. It grows without fertilizer as well as being a renewable resource for agro forestry products.

Bamboo in nature is naturally antibacterial. Therefore, it reduces the chance of allergies or skin conditions. It is one of nature’s most sustainable products. It is UV-resistant, hypoallergenic, deodorizing, does not retain odors and is biodegradable.

They are environmentally friendly because they are a reusable product. As someone who uses disposable pads, I can tell you that I’ve probably thrown away 350 disposable pads in the past 3 months. Ouch!

They are environmentally friendly since they can be reused many times, and since they are made from bamboo – it’s doubly friendly!

Posh pads are environmentally friendly for man reasons including that bamboo is a species of grass that is harvested every third year and is highly renewable.

Posh Pads use bamboo in the mfg. process, bamboo grows without the use of pesticides, which is very nice since bamboo will still grow and be harvested and you won’t have to use chemicals to help with the growing process-which can hurt the environment.

hey are environmentally friendly because they are a reusable product.
I’ve been using the plain old white ones for the past 12 years. I’d be nice to have something colorful :)
