I found something really cool today! Well, cool if you love cloth diapers and you love to sew, that is.
Here’s “Babyville!” Cloth diaperers spoke and Joanns listened. I have been ordering diaper fabric online since 2009 and I have gone to many local fabric stores asking for PUL (this is the waterproof fabric to make diapers with) and they looked at me like I was crazy! I recently went to Joann fabrics and saw some PUL in a different isle, but the print was on the shiny side, so I’m not sure how that fabric would be used. That PUL that I saw a few weeks ago is now gone and they have since created a whole section devoted to cloth diapering and other cute baby crafty ideas! The selection is still small and the section was hidden in the button isle of my local Joann fabrics, but at least it exists! They have snaps, velcro, fabric, labels, how-to books and more! I was impressed, they even had an sample cloth diaper made for shoppers to touch and feel
