I have a new sponsor on my site, as of last week! Soft and Cozy Baby is Baltimore’s only cloth diapering boutique. As I have
mentioned in many of my posts I love cloth diapering and I wish that there were more places that sold the diapers in their stores. Near the end of my pregnancy I came across someone advertising on craigslist for their cloth diaper shop as well as cloth diapering 101 classes and baby-wearing classes. I attended one of her cloth diapering 101 classes and I also visited her shop, which is run out of her home. Since my first visit, her shop has grown tremendously. She offers a very wide variety of cloth diapers, baby-wearing wraps, diaper detergent, breast feeding accessories, baby clothes, baby blankets, nursery bedding, and many other natural baby items. Here is one of the cute items she sells at her store:

Bayla, started this store in August 2008 as a resource for Baltimore parents looking for a local cloth diaper store. There are a ton of websites out there for cloth diapers. But it’s completely different to be able to touch and feel them in person! They are much cuter and softer than they look online!
Since Bayla is the only person in Baltimore selling cloth diapers, I refer everyone to her! I am on a mission to convert all of my friends with new babies to cloth diapers and one by one as they become interested I send them either to Bayla’s shop or to her cloth diapering classes. Her classes are offered regularly at varying locations in the Baltimore area. Going to one of her classes is a great way to see how easy cloth diapering really can be and to be introduced into the new world of cloth diapering.
I know I have mentioned that this is a wonderful place to buy cloth diapers in Baltimore, but Soft and Cozy Baby is an e-commerce site and you can buy from her shop no matter where you are. You can also check out her website for more information on the various types on cloth diapers out there at her cloth diapers 101 page and directions on how to wash them here. Finally, Bayla offers a wonderful option for purchasing your cloth diapers so that you don’t break your wallet. Cloth diapering is much cheaper than disposables, but it is a big upfront cost, check out her layaway plan so that you can ease your way into your purchase.
