What about asking people to save there Heinz baby food jars and re-using them?  Would those jars work?  They are free!!  At least for short term storage (a week or two?).  I usually make my baby purees every few days.

		<description>That&#039;s great if you already have these around the house.  Otherwise it&#039;s much cheaper to buy 4oz. canning jars.  You can get 12 of them for $8, or find them at a sale used and just clean them up!</description>
