Awesome! Thank you for this post I am going to a Vegan Potluck this weekend and was not sure what to make but looking at the Love like a Vegan site I have found some great ideas! If you are interested in going Vegan you may want to do what my friend is doing. She went on a 28day vegan challenge this month, kinda as a detox but to also try out being vegan again. A few years back she had gone vegan but got sick and had to stop because she was not getting enough Vitamin E. I would like to do the vegan challenge some time at I do not think it wise to change my diet so dramatically while i am pregnant, But it never hurts to add vegan meals and/or snack here and there. Also the Vegan Carrot Cake from Whole foods is to die for. My youngest son just turned 1 last week and he is Allergic to milk so i got that cake for him.
Enjoy the experimenting and if you have a chance Thursdays are Tasty Thursdays at Whole Foods I am not sure about the time for other Whole foods but Annapolis is 5:30-6:30. All the departments set up tables and hand out samples and recipes of the samples. Its a great time to get some new ideas.

I should not have read this post before crawling into bed. Now I am hungry and dying for one of your cookies and a kale chip! I have an amazing recipe for a lemon raspberry vegan cake. It uses olive oil and no one misses the dairy.
