*CLOSED* Corn Toddler Divided Plate & Spoon/Fork – Review and Giveaway

by Rachel McFadden on January 14, 2010

A Winner has been selected.

Do you know that conventional plastics are petroleum-based? Corn-based plastics are created from corn, a renewable resource and use 65% less energy to create than conventional plastics. Not only are the corn-based plastics better for the environment to create, they are compostable as well and can return to their natural state at the end of their usable life.

This cute dandelion colored feeding plates and spoon and fork set is perfect for your toddler. As an added bonus, because it is corn based, you won’t have to worry that it is leaching chemicals into your children’s food. The utensils are the perfect size for a child just learning to feed himself. I especially like the deep spoons that fit well into my son’s mouth, no more tiny bits for him!

Thanks to Franklin Goose, you can also have a chance to try these out.

For a chance to win this set, please visit Franklin Goose’s website and let me know what other feeding products would be perfect for your children. Leave a comment.

One thing I learned from one of their articles is that at least 83% of the cotton grown in the U.S. is genetically modified.

I liked the idea of these corn-based products very much, as they are biodegradable and compostable. From their site I liked the look of the Frozen Treat Tray to make healthy Popsicles.
