*CLOSED* Corn Toddler Divided Plate & Spoon/Fork – Review and Giveaway

by Rachel on January 14, 2010

A Winner has been selected.

Do you know that conventional plastics are petroleum-based? Corn-based plastics are created from corn, a renewable resource and use 65% less energy to create than conventional plastics. Not only are the corn-based plastics better for the environment to create, they are compostable as well and can return to their natural state at the end of their usable life.

This cute dandelion colored feeding plates and spoon and fork set is perfect for your toddler. As an added bonus, because it is corn based, you won’t have to worry that it is leaching chemicals into your children’s food. The utensils are the perfect size for a child just learning to feed himself. I especially like the deep spoons that fit well into my son’s mouth, no more tiny bits for him!

Thanks to Franklin Goose, you can also have a chance to try these out.

For a chance to win this set, please visit Franklin Goose’s website and let me know what other feeding products would be perfect for your children. Leave a comment.

I learned that Cadmium is particularly dangerous for children because growing bodies readily absorb substances, and cadmium accumulates in the kidneys for decades.

One thing I learned from FG blog is that the Prince Lionheart washpod, while looking like you are washing your child in a mop bucket, is actually quite useful and a joy for the child. It keeps the baby warm and happy and makes that first bath experience a happy one for all.
