Go green with NEEM tooth powder- Giveaway!!

So I was contacted to review the Neem tooth powder by organixsouth.  Honestly I was super excited!  I swear I have been looking for tooth powder for quite some time now and I haven’t been able to find it.  A friend told me about the powder a few years ago and every time I go to whole foods I look for it, but never find it.  Maybe I was looking in the wrong place!

I was asked to either review Mint or Cinnamon.  I can’t seem to change old habits of having my toothpaste taste like mint, so I went with what I know.

The tooth powder is made with extracts from the organic neem and leaf bark, hence the name “Neem” powder.  It’s great for supporting healthy and strong teeth and gums and is sulfate free, gluten free, fluoride free and paraben free.

Now, I’ll give you my honest opinion.  I wet my tooth brush, poured out a little powder and began brushing.  My first reaction was, “yuck, this does not taste like mint!”  Okay, so before you give up on the product, keep reading:

As the powder began to lather the taste turned into a pleasant mint flavor.  It felt and tasted just like toothpaste.  The lather was exactly the same!

I have used the powder for every brushing for the last few weeks and I swear my teeth feel more clean throughout the day than the do with regular toothpaste!  I have even gotten used to the initial taste when you begin brushing and the good news is there is no bad after taste.
