My baby has learned to give us hugs and kisses and I love it! When we wake up in the morning, he is particularly loving. We say, “give Mommy a kiss” or “give Daddy a kiss” and he leans in an puts his little mouth on ours and waits for a kiss. His hugs are equally as cute when he tries to wrap his little arms around us. Wow, this really makes me wish I has some photos, I’ll have to work on that. But, boy, it is such a wonderful feeling to receive some loving back from your little one after all the love we have been giving over the last year. It is so neat to see him grow and learn new things each day. I can honestly say that each stage of my baby’s life is better than the previous one. Just when he does something that we think is so fun and cute, he does something even cuter.
We are just waiting for him to walk, I really think he’s so close, but he’s just too comfortable holding on to stuff. I’ve caught him a few times letting go, but I don’t think he noticed, and as soon as he realized it he dropped to his knees. Anyhow, we can’t wait for him to take those first few steps. I do realize that life will only get busier the busier he gets, once he’s on the move I’m sure he won’t stop!
