At DC Green Festival
Check out this cardboard city built over the two days at the DC green Festival by the children and volunteers at the festival. This was a fun way to demonstrate that kids don’t need expensive, plastic toys to have fun. The best toys are ones that allow children to expand their minds and their imagination. Give it a try, let your kids build with your boxes and a box of crayons!
Before motherhood I had an appreciation for our planet, but once I knew that I was bringing a new life into the world suddenly my urge to live a greener life was much greater. I knew that I must do my part to help create a beautiful place for my future generations to live. I take steps each day to reduce my carbon footprint.
