At DC Green Festival

At DC Green Festival

Check out this cardboard city built over the two days at the DC green Festival by the children and volunteers at the festival.   This was a fun way to demonstrate that kids don’t need expensive, plastic toys to have fun.  The best toys are ones that allow children to expand their minds and their imagination.  Give it a try, let your kids build with your boxes and a box of crayons!

Oh wow! I love that idea. It seems my kids always spend more time playing with the boxes the toys come in anyways.

Yeah my son always ends up playing with the boxes until they break and get ruined. Sometimes I think why not just get him the box, skip the toy! lol
