Glad you all like my photos! I learned something when I went to the farm and asked about the Turkeys. They have 2 types, one that is raise in a pasture and the other raised in a hut. The reason they do this is because the ones raised indoors are more confined and they grow more quickly because they can’t run around. The price of the pasture-raised is $4/lb and the other is $2.50/lb. I also learned that Turkeys kill each other and themselves! The farm hatched 600 turkeys this year and are now down to 200 because of fights and suicide (crazy, huh?)

We love going to the farm too. There is literally one behind our property. The boys love seeing all of the animals.

I miss ordering a turkey for Thanksgiving! We used to do it in my first marriage and it was always so juicy and tender.
